Site Seeing: The Class of 2003
Less music, more blog. That's characteristic of Class of 2003 web sites
nominated by peers and reviewed by the openDOOR content team. This year's
senior sites are web savvy, talkative, and rich in content and context.
- Jumaane Jeffries' Mystic
Domain, which includes an online game with friends as avatars, was
enthusiastically nominated by class members.
- Will Lark's multimedia Portfolio
showcases projects in architectural prototyping and water filtration;
he links to a PBS Scientific
American Frontiers
episode that focuses on him and others participating in MIT robot
design competitions.
- "Poetry is painting" in the Cookie
Lounge, EECS major Kim Khanh Nguyen's colorful web site features
poetry series, art, photos, and news blog.
- Learn out how Class President Sina Kevin Nazemi, then 11, landed an
interview
with President Clinton.
- See life through the eyes of mechanical
engineering major/artist/comic strip author Alison Wong.
- Composer and
singer Regaip Sen, EECS/music double major, invites web rovers to
hear his music online.
OpenDOOR presents more than 40 web sites from the graduating class.
- Peer Review: sites nominated
by 2003 classmates
- Webbies and Bloggers:
Artful home pages, web savvy designs, and multimedia commentaries
