Information Technology's Next Big Transformation !!!

"Cloud Computing": What is it ...
... and why every (non-technical) business person should care.

Please join the MIT Enterprise Forum of Texas on Wednesday evening, May 20th for a panel discussion of the technical challenges, commercialization issues and business opportunities accompanying the emergence of Cloud Computing.

We are in the earliest stages of the next seismic shift in information technology, one that has the potential to impact business models and alter fundamental assumptions regarding how we develop, deploy, utilize and maintain those systems that are critical to running our businesses.

As with previous emerging technologies and paradigm shifts, Cloud Computing’s path to mainstream adoption presents opportunities as well as pitfalls.

Our discussion - moderated by Houston Chronicle CIO Roberta Kowalishin, and joined by Google/Postini Founder Scott Petry, Bill Hodak of Oracle, Dave Levitt of SalesForce.com, and Mark Settle, CIO for BMC Software - will explore current realities of the Cloud Computing environment, the likely implications for businesses of all types and sizes in the years immediately ahead, and considerations in planning for this new era.

Many Thanks! to Event Sponsors CyrusOne, SalesForce.com and Oracle
