Cloud Computing Program - May 20, 2009

Panelists for Cloud Computing Program ... see more photos in attached article The MIT Enterprise Forum of Texas ended it's 2008/09 program calendar on a strong note with an all-star panel-discussion on the implications of Cloud Computing for businesses of all sizes. The program was held on Wednesday, May 20th at the Renaissance hotel in Greenway Plaza, and attended by over 100 members and guests.

MITEF-TX Executive Committee member Roberta Kowalishin, who is VP & CIO for the Houston Chronicle, moderated a panel consisting of Mark Settle, CIO of BMC Software; Scott Petry, Product Management Director for Google Enterprise; Bill Hodak, Principal Product Manager at Oracle Corporation; and Dave Levitt, Regional Sales Manager for Salesforce.com ... further information about this event, including twelve photos, can be found in Glenn Jenkinson's article below.
Both Kowalishin and Settle attended MIT; Roberta has her MBA from the Sloan School, while Mark received both his bachelor's and master's degrees at the Institute, prior to earning his PhD at Brown.

The MIT Enterprise Forum of Texas operates on a twelve month season that runs from July 1st to June 30th. Our last event of the year will be purely social in nature: a networking meeting on the evening of June 17th at Hotel Za Za ... we hope to see you there.
