The MIT Club of Washington DC is excited to join the Greater DC Chapter
of the American Technion Society at the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC. This
joint membership event will provide an opportunity to learn about Israel’s
recent cutting-edge contributions to sustainable technology. It will also be an
opportunity to meet members of the Israeli Ministry and representatives from
Haifa’s Technion Institute, renowned to be Israel’s MIT.
SCHEDULE (tentative)
Security gates will open at 6:00 p.m. No one will be admitted after 7:30 p.m.
The event will be held in Jerusalem Hall.
6:00 p.m. Check-in and registration
6:30 p.m. Reception with Kosher finger foods, Israeli wine, soft drinks,
desserts
7:20 p.m. Welcome and presentations
8:15 p.m. Mingling
8:30 p.m. Adjournment – Hall closes promptly at 9:00 p.m.
The Embassy is located at 3514 International Dr. NW,
Washington, DC, 20008. Telephone: 202-364-5500. Metered street parking is
available but limited. By METRO: The Van Ness Metro Station on the Red Line is
a short walk from the Embassy.

this event is $32 per person for dues-paid Club members. Guests—only one guest
per member, please—are also $32. As usual, dues-paid Club Partners may register
via email to cjo@alum.mit.edu at no
charge. The non-member price is $47 per person, although it is highly unlikely
that there will be room for non-members. Registrations must be received by
Monday, November 9.
Please note that Israeli Security requires that all
attendees submit their full name, birth date, and place of birth. Please ensure
that this information is legible on your registration coupon. You will also need
to bring a photo id to the event.
