Dear MIT alumni/ae, if you are not already a member, we would like to encourage you to join. We would also like your suggestions for Club events that would be of interest to you and your family. In order to make it easy for you to submit your suggestions, we have prepared an online survey. Please take a few minutes to respond to the survey. Click on or copy the following into your browser:

Dear Fellow Alumni:

The Alumni Association has now provided us with the capability for inputing two "home" addresses into the Association Computer System (Infinite Connection). This will give all of us the capability to receive Club information from each of two locations, depending on the time of year. For example, during the winter months, one could receive information from the MIT Club of SWFL, and in the summer months, one could receive information from a Club in a location nearby to one's summer residence. Since quite a few of our SWFL Club members maintain dual residences, this new capability will be very helpful.

Recording your second address is easy to do. You can update your own record via the MIT Alumni Association's "Infinite Connection" accounts. If you already have an account (with an @alum.mit.edu email address), simply login on to the MIT Alumni Association home page at http://alum.mit.edu/index.html. You'll be directed to the "Your Info" page where you will see a link for adding or updating a seasonal address. Upon clicking the link, you will input the address, and also select the date range of your typical stay at the address. You will also have an opportunity to choose to have your mail directed to your seasonal address. If you have Internet access but don't have an Infinite Connection account, it's easy to register at https://alum.mit.edu/authentication.vhtml .

If you know of people who don't have Internet access, you could let them know that they can provide their seasonal address by calling the Alumni Records Department at 617-253-8270. Alternatively, they can write to Alumni Records at:

Alumni Records
MIT Alumni Association
77 Massachusetts Avenue
W92-280
Cambridge, MA 02139

We hope you will find this to be of use and we look forward to another successful "seasonal" year.

Ellen and Robert Gurnitz '60 hosted a cocktail reception at the Hilton Naples Hotel. Nearly 30 alumni/ae and friends attended the event and were joined by Philip Khoury, associate provost and Ford International Professor of History. Khoury described MIT's current role in educating tomorrow's leaders and preparing them for the future.
