Welcome to the Club of Southeast Michigan!
The MIT Club of Southeastern Michigan is an organization of MIT alumni around the Detroit-Ann Arbor Region. As an MIT volunteer organization, it's goals are:
- Facilitate the contact between MIT and its Alumni in Southeastern Michigan
- Educate the public about MIT and its mission
- Provide its members with a continued 'MIT Experience'
- Create opportunities to give back to MIT with your experience.
Please join us for a meet and greet with MIT alum and author Brooks Mendell on November 9th at 6:30pm in Ann Arbor
Brooks will be talking about his book, "Beaverball" which chronicles his experiences as co-captain and co-MVP of the MIT baseball team during the year they conquered NCAA Division III opponents to become the Eastern Coast Athletic Conference Champions.
Summer event cancellation
Attention
The summer social canoe event scheduled for tomorrow August 22nd has been cancelled due to low attendance. We will try and schedule another social event later in the year which hopefully will draw more attendees.
If you can, please send feedback about why this event was not successful (day, time, type of event?) to Victoria Knight Victoria.knight@alum.mit.edu so that we can schedule events more within the clubęs interests in the future.
