Monthly Recurring MBACH Event(s)

Second Monday of the Month - Monthly Deal Flow Lunch at La Griglia (Wharton Club of Houston)

It has become a great venue for business referrals, networking and deal making. Whether your members are a provider of goods or services; looking to build relationships with customers and suppliers, an entrepreneur, looking for financing or equity capital, customers, M & A opportunities, visibility or an investor looking for opportunities or acquisitions, this luncheon is focused on helping each of them grow their business.  There are many success stories which began at this monthly lunch event hosted by the Wharton Club.

Every attendee has the opportunity to give a little information about what he or she does and what they are looking for.  It is an excellent way to let other attendees know about them and how they may help or benefit other attendees who are potential clients, customers, investors, buyers, suppliers, etc.  It is designed to facilitate deal-making and business development efforts and is a top-notch opportunity to meet, greet, network, and make valuable contacts.

The luncheon is held at La Griglia on the second Monday of every month from noon to 1 pm.  Please mark it on your calendar. La Griglia is in the River Oaks shopping center on the north side of West Gray two blocks east of the intersection of West Gray and Shepherd.  There is valet parking at the front door and free parking west of the restaurant and also behind the restaurant.  Our private room is at the rear right or northeast corner of the restaurant.

To reserve a seat all you must do is email an RSVP to Stephen Voskoat least 2 days in advance at the www.whartonhouston.com website (look for the Monthly Deal Flow Lunch on the event menu).  Since seats are reserved on a first come first served basis, it is best to RSVP as early as possible. Lunch  costs $18  total (includes tip and tax).  The business opportunities there are priceless.

Last Thursday of the Month - Wharton-UBS Speakers Forum (Wharton Club of Houston)

The Wharton-UBS Speakers Forum occurs on the last Thursday of each month at The Coronado Club, located downtown at 919 Milam, 5th floor at 11:30am. Please mark it on your calendar. You may learn about each month's speaker and rsvp to attend by accessing the Wharton Club of Houston's website at www.whartonhouston.com.

Self-parking is available at McKinney Place Garage or 1010 Travis Place Garage (both located at the corner of Travis and McKinney) for an additional fee of approximately $6.00. Entrances to the 1010 Travis Place Garage are located on both McKinney and on Travis. The Coronado Club has a dress code requiring traditional business attire. Click for a map
