Membership Goal: 10% of Research Triangle Alums as Members
Our membership goal is to have 10% of our 600+ local alums as members.
We've hit this number previously and we expect to hit it again.
Events Goal: One per month
Our goal is to host one event per month, on average.
We're hosting events coming up that MIT alums can attend, whether you are a member or not. From Happy Hours to World-class MIT speakers. Check them out!
In 2004-2005, we hosted many events, including
1) Evening with Bill Hecht '61, CEO Emeritus, MIT Alumni Association
2) Happy Hour at Hibernian Pub in Cary
3) IP Seminar - Patents: Introduction to the Law of Inventions
4) Toast to IAP (National Winner!)
5) Evening with MIT Chancellor Phil Clay '75
6) IP Seminar - Capturing Value from Innovation
7) MIT Enterprise Forum "Angel Groups in Action: Funding Early Stage Innovation"
Volunteer Goal: One volunteer per event
Our goal for the year is to have one volunteer help out at each event. These are volunteers who are not already Board Members of the club.
The MIT Club of RTP is a volunteer-run organization. We need your help to make the club stronger. If you are interested in volunteering, please stop by and say hello at an upcoming event.
