Wine Tasting, Vineyard Tour, and Lunch Sunday, November 6 11:00 a.m
	Last year we did a similar activity and enjoyed it. This may become an annual event. This year we meet 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Chamard Vineyard Inc: 860-664-0299, 115 Cow Hill Rd Clinton, CT 06413 (Get a MapQuest map on the www.). (The wine tasting is complimentary.) Following the tour we meet for individually reserved lunch at 1:00 PM at the Aqua Restaurant, 34 Riverside Drive, Clinton, CT (860-664-3788). For more fun, form a group. When you call for reservations tell the reservationist that you are with the MIT Club of Hartford to get seated with the rest of us for lunch at 1:00 PM. Follow Walnut Hill for 8/10 mile. It will merge into Cow Hill Road and you will see the vineyard on your left.

MIT Club of Hartford 100th Annivary Special Guest: MIT President Dr. Susan Hockfield Wednesday, November 9 6:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.
	The MIT Club of Hartford is hosting a gala celebration in honor of the 100th anniversary of the club's founding, and in honor of the installation of Dr. Susan Hockfield as the 16th president of the Institute. The guest list for this affair reads like a who's who of Connecticut leaders in government, higher education, and industry. The event is set in the immaculate Pratt & Whitney Customer Training Center where we will dine surrounded by engines powering large commercial aircraft such as the Boeing 747, Airbus A310 and others. The evening will culminate with a highlight address from Dr. Hockfield. This is an event you do not want to miss. Please be sure to join us. Register via Smartrans.
