Membership

Joining the MIT Club of Chicago provides opportunities to socialize and network with fellow alums, keep up to date with developments at MIT, attend Chicago area presentations by MIT faculty members, and partake of special local events, occasionally with other alumni groups. Members benefit from lower pricing to club events, generally $10 to $15 less than the non-member price.

Memberships run from Sept. 1 to Aug. 31 of the following year.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AND COSTS

Young alums & current students - a graduate of the class of 2009 or current student - receives Regular Member benefits.

Recent Graduate - a graduate of the class of 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 - receives Regular Member benefits.
$15 per year


Regular Member - receives substantial discount for self and one guest to all Club-sponsored events, receives all mailings and newsletters.
$25 per year


Patron - receives Regular Member benefits plus free attendance for self at all Club-sponsored events priced up to $40 (with $40 discount for all other events).
$100 per year


Sponsor - same benefits as Patron, except that the free/discounted event pricing includes both the member and a guest.
$150 per year


Benefactor - receives Sponsor Member benefits and is credited for a $50 contribution to the Scholarship Fund of the MIT Club of Chicago. You will also, if desired, receive recognition for your generosity at club events.
