  •  Lecture - May 30th, Wednesday, 20h30 - Recent develop­ments of the Brazilian economy (in Portu­guese). Guest speaker: Mr. Luiz Carlos Mendonça de Barros, PhD in Economics (Unicamp). Mr. Mendonça de Barros was President of BNDES, responsible for the country's privatization process, in 1995, and, in 1998, Minister of Telecommunications; currently, he is chief advisor for an international investment fund newly incorporated in Brazil.
