JUNE 12TH, 2005
SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA YOUNG ALUMNI BBQ

For Class of 2000 members in the SF Bay Area, please join us on Sunday, June 12th for *our* West Coast 5th year reunion.

For other young alumni members in the Bay Area, especially any experienced softball players, we also welcome you to join us. If you have any extra gloves, bats, and bases, please do let us know.

The parks are usually very booked for the summer, but we've found a place with a BBQ grill, a picnic area, and a softball field in Sunnyvale (South Bay Area). We just need you to bring your favorite dish to share with others!

Bring your bats and gloves too. After lunch, we'll play a friendly game of slow-pitch softball.

(We'll even have a preschool T-ball stand if you find it easier than swinging at 5.271 mph, 32-ft high Eephus pitches.)

The basic info:

WHAT: MIT Class of 2000 5th Year Reunion & Young Alumni BBQ & Softball

DATE: June 12, 2005, 12:00 pm

WHERE: E-mail Roger Hu <rhu@alum.mit.edu>

What to bring: $5 (covers cost of rental reservation) + your checkbook + bats/gloves

Parking is limited, so please carpool.

Please RSVP ASAP. We need to coordinate on what items to bring.

Also, please bring $5 to help cover the cost of the field reservations.

Class of 2000 members: Please also bring a separate check for the MIT Alumni Fund (payable to "MIT"). We'll be pooling the checks and sending them together in one mailing as part of the SF Bay Area Class of 2000 MIT contribution.

If you want to designate your contribution for a specific purpose, please also state it on the check. We'll have the forms for you ready.

If you are going be out of town, please still consider contributing. If you donate through the web site (http://giving.mit.edu) before June 30, you'll be included in the list of contributors for this fiscal year.

See you ALL then!

Roger
