And now on to some news from our classmates…

Yong Joo has spent the last two months of summer recuperating from his second full year and preparing for his third year as a high school teacher in Alameda, CA. He has never worked so hard in his life, nor has he ever felt he was making as full a use of the talents that MIT helped him find in himself, as he has these last few years teaching high school science. It's the first occupation he has had that he can actually see himself doing for a long, long time. Rajesh Anandan had an eventful winter and spring, becoming engaged to his better half Julie Kuehn (in Goa), leaving the Global Fund and RED (in Geneva), and moving to be a house husband (in San Francisco). When he's not doing his household chores, he spends his time being confused about whether he's an entrepreneur or an activist, and recently launched üba, a brand which merges fashion, art and philanthropy to promote peace.

Mark and Stephanie (DeWeese) Sadowski welcomed their third daughter, Amelia Marie Sadowski, to the world on March 18th. She weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20 inches long at birth. She joins her 2 older sisters Ada (4) and Clara (2). Shawn Hanegan and his wife Liz, along with big sister Grace, welcomed Sarah Annalee Hanegan into the world on April 3rd. The new family is doing very well. Shawn is a systems engineer for MITRE Corporation, working on Global Air Traffic Management at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Thank you to everyone who has submitted updates over the past few months. Please remember that you can submit updates and photos any time throughout the year to be posted on our class website, http://alumweb.mit.edu/classes/1995/.
