May/ June 2007 Greetings everyone! Each month the alumni office sends out a listing of “missing alumni,” students they have lost contact with over the years. Now for some news about our classmates… Matthew Konosky recently relocated from Connecticut to Chicago to join UBS Global Asset. His family which now includes two daughters (Abbey, age 3, and Sarah, who is turning 1) will be living in Lincoln Park while they decide whether to stay in the city or move out to the suburbs. Donny Wong moved to London in December. He is still working as a pharmaceutical research analyst for Boston-based Decision Resources but is now doing the work from the other side of the pond. Morgan Slade and his wife Aimee have recently moved to Fort Worth, TX. Morgan leads the quantitative research and global program and fx trading desks at Penson Worldwide. He and Aimee have a three year old daughter, Skye, and are expecting their second daughter in February. Robin (Smith) Smullen and her husband Steve welcomed a son, Owen David, on Sept. 25, 2006. They also have an older son, Zachary, who turned two this past August. Srimal (Wangu) and Kyung Soo Choi were married on June 23, 2001. They celebrated the birth of their first child, Kian, on Sept. 16th, 2006. Srimal, Kyung, and Kian are living in Arlington, VA where Srimal is working on small satellites at Orbital Sciences Corporation and Kyung is working at Sparta, Inc. on government consulting projects.
John Simmons and his wife welcomed their daughter Haven Skye Simmons on Dec. 2, 2006. She is their second child, joining daughter Hope who turned three at the end of January. Stephanie Shaw and Simanta Chakraborty welcomed Ciara (pronounced Key-are-ah) Shaw Chakraborty on Oct. 7, 2006.
