If you have any contact with these classmates, please encourage them to contact the alumni office at MITalum@mitvmc.mit.edu. And now some news from our classmates… Ben Jordan reports that he continues to live in Atlanta with his wife, Mary Beth (Trinity College ‘95). He has worked for Coca-Cola since graduating from MIT grad school (MEng ‘96). Jordan is in his fifth job there in ten years, focusing on environmental matters. The Jordan’s are expecting their first baby on March 7. Warren Sze recently started his own Real Estate and Mortgage company called Cedar Point Realty and Mortgage. He is living and working in Northern California (the Bay Area). Daniel Pouzzner is back enrolled at MIT for the semester and his days are once again full of writing lab reports. Heather Wages was recently married to Colin Zimmer at their home in western Massachusetts. A more formal wedding is planned for this summer at her parents’ home in Canada, but Colin and Heather enjoyed their ceremony at home with just the JP and their three cats. Heather, in her ninth year of teaching high school chemistry and loving it, hopes to make a move to the Rochester, NY area with her new husband this summer. Julie (Stephens) Fornaro is pleased to announce the birth of her son, Ryan Albert. He was 6 lbs. 13 oz., 20 inches long and born on Nov. 23, 2005 at 3:37am (with only 20 minutes of pushing!). Mommy had an epidural and was very happy to not feel a thing. She went back to work at Freescale (formerly Motorola) on February 13th and Ryan is adjusting well to daycare. He definitely has mommy’s calm disposition. At seven weeks, he was 11 lbs. 1 oz. and 24 inches long. He recently got to see the first rain of his life on March 12th (after 143 days of no rain in Phoenix) and was not particularly impressed. Mindy (Moss) and Jonathan Rogers welcomed their first baby, Joshua Michael Rogers on Dec. 20, 2005. Erica Hanley-Onken shares the birth of her second daughter, Devin Sofia Onken, on February 5. She’s a gorgeous little baby (like her big sister Zoe, almost two now) and developing quite a personality already at six weeks! Zoe loves playing with her baby sister and is a big help all around. They are doing great and balancing the dual-career life in Cary, NC. Erica says it was great to see so many people at the reunion and get back in touch again. And Stephanie (DeWeese) and Mark Sadowski recently welcomed Clara Elizabeth Sadowski to the world on February 15. She joins two year old big sister, Ada, at their home in Charlotte, NC. Thank you to everyone who has submitted updates. Please remember you can submit updates and photos any time throughout the year to be posted on our class website. —Jennifer (Tschudy) Carlstrom,
