Welcome to the Class of 1961!
We are the MIT Class of 1961 and our mission is to enhance the value of the MIT degree, build community, and celebrate our shared experience. This website is your gateway to activities and news for Class of 1961, a way to find out what your fellow alumni are doing and stay connected.
Check back here periodically as we update the site with new events, stories about volunteers and alumni, and information about ways to participate.
Here is a picture of the class secretary during his usual holiday celebration. Can you tell which one is him? He wants your input, so email your suggestions to him.
VooDoo searchers needed
VooDoo has started to scan a post their old editions online at http://mit.edu/voodoo/www/archive/
We would like to post selected articles of historical and humorous merit on this site, and need volunteer VD specialists to search the archives and find things the rest of us want to read. Lots of it was probably funny at the time, and other articles are timeless.
If you want to be on the committee to find and post the really good stuff, please contact the webmaster at castlej@u.washington.edu.
Class of 1961 Scholarship Recipients
See the News section for information about the students we are supporting with our gifts to the class scholarship funds. We are making a difference in the lives of people who will guide the future. Congratulations to them, and thanks to you.
