Class mini-reunion scheduled for Friday, June 8, 2012. The class is sponsoring a casual dutch treat afternoon social gathering followed by dinner at the MIT Faculty Club. Dinner tickets cost $60 per person.
The Provost has designated Professors Hal Abelson (Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) and Dan Hastings (Engineering Systems Division and the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics) as the recipients of the Class of 1960 EFIE Fellowship for another two year term extending to July 2014. The award is in support of their joint effort with MIT's Council on Educational Technology (MITCET) to integrate online and other technology-enabled tools into the residential campus and classroom experience with the objective of enhancing the learning experience of the students.
