45th Reunion Plan June 2-5, 2005

Last year 50 of 65 classmates responding to a mail poll said they would attend the 45th reunion in 2005. Classmates were evenly split between Salem and Newport. The committee decided on Salem this time with Newport the likely choice in 2010. The schedule looks like this as of now: Thursday night June 2:    Dinner at Symphony Hall    Tech Night at the Pops    Bus to Hawthorne Hotel in Salem Friday June 3:    Museums, golf, waterfront, House of the Seven Gables, etc    Bus to Cambridge (and back) for tours and MIT visits    Class of 1960 Fellows Presentation in TEAL Classroom (26-152) 3 p.m.-5 p.m.    Cocktail hour    Dinner and dancing at the hotel Saturday June 4:    At leisure in Salem or Technology Day at MIT    Woodman's catered clambake in Winter Island Marine Park    Election of Class Officers for 2005-2010 Sunday June 5:    Brunch - at the hotel    Election of Class Officers for 2005-2010

Our base of operations is the Hawthorne Hotel which is within walking distance of most of Salem's great attractions.
