1953
Class Scholarship Fund Recipients
1997-1998
The recipient of funding from the Class of 1953 Scholarship Fund for 1997-98 has been determined. It gives me great pleasure to write and tell you a little bit about his activities at MIT. John Choe ’98 is a Materials Science and Engineering major from Broomall, Pennsylvania. John currently serves as Vice President and Community Service Chair of his fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha. He is a member of Project Contact, and adds to his busy schedule a job as the Lobby 7 Donut Stand Manager! John worked last summer as an intern at Intel Corporation. He plans to pursue a career in business, law, or teaching. Without the support of your classmates, MIT could not maintain its commitment to admitting the best and brightest, regardless of need. On behalf of the Alumni/ae Association and the Institute, I send sincere thanks to the Class of 1953 for contributions to this fund. |
