1953
Class Scholarship Fund Recipients
2002-2003
I
am delighted to report the Class of 1953 Scholarship Fund awardee for
2002/2003. Andrew Morten ’05, who is majoring in physics, is the treasurer of his living group, Epsilon Theta. He is a member of the MIT Concert Band, and was the meritorious winner of the 2002 Mathematical Contest in Modeling. In his free time, Andrew plays the piano (which he has done for the past 14 years), and enjoys computer programming and mathematics. He spent this summer working at a UROP position at the Artificial Intelligence Lab. Andrew has yet to decide on a career. As you know, support from the Class of 1953 helps MIT maintain its commitment to admitting the best and brightest, regardless of need. On behalf of the Alumni Association and the Institute, I send sincere thanks for the Class of 1953’s contributions to this fund. |
