Q. Somehow we missed the photographer
and failed to get our picture taken. Can we send one in to be
put up?
A. Absolutely. Send it in. See
below.
Q. Do I have to be in the red
jacket?
A. No.
Q. Do I have to be in any jacket
at all? Or wear a tie?
A. It's optional. But to keep
a fairly high-class tone to the photo pages, we'd prefer to have
folks reasonably well-attired. Some reunion photo subjects will
be in shirt sleeves, as you will soon notice. (Those June Reunion
afternoons were warm.) Dress as neatly as you can.
Q. We didn't attend the Reunion.
Are these only to be Reunion pictures? Or can we send in a photo
of ourselves, too?
A. You can. That would be fine,
and we seek photos as much from those not attending as from the
rest. Send a photo in. See below for format suggestions.
Q. We don't have one to send
in, and the one you've put up is not very flattering. Can we have
it taken off?
A. Sure. Just request.
Q. We spotted a couple of typos
or other mistakes. How do we get them corrected?
A. Just notify us. There may
well be some errors, with so many names, nicknames, home towns.
Let us know.
Q. When one partner dies, what
of the web photo then?
A. This will be the survivor's
choice. Suggestion: We keep the page intact, but with a simple
addendum noting the decease and date. That way, the page cluster
will not keep thinning down, but will stay as a permanent record
of how we looked around the year 2000. However, the preference
of the family will still govern.
Q. We have memorable, nostalgic
pictures taken at Pops, Mohonk, etc. Classmates would enjoy them.
How can they be displayed.
A. A separate page will be devoted
to Reunion memorabilia. Send the photos in. Those writing the
Reunion Record can use them as they see fit.
Suggestion: Look over a few of the existing photos. We'd like to keep some unity of format. Note that the pictures are obviously posed, not candids shot on the fly. The classmate and spouse (if present) are the subjects; others in the photo are well in the background.
A 5 x 7 inch color glossy print is best. Almost as good: 4 x 6 inch. Subjects are close-up, but a little background can show to add color. Pictures in sunlight best; cloudy day, almost as good; flash, least desirable.
