Since our last report the number of classmates who will likely attend the reunion has swelled. In fact we are on track to break the attendance records for all 60th reunions just as we did at our 50th. There is something about the class of 1950 that just makes us want to be with each other. And, interestingly, this desire seems to grow. Classmates who have never attended a reunion have indicated they plan to attend this one. Click on the link below to see the list of possible attendees.

We have reserved choice venues for our events at MIT: the R&D Commons room in the Stata Center for our pre-Pops dinner, and the vaulted atrium in the Brain and Cognitive Science building for our Saturday night banquet. We are about to conclude a contract with the historic Hawthorne Hotel in Salem with very attractive room rates. The Hawthorne is within walking distance of Salem’s major attractions.

We've had a wonderful response to our dues request and the questionnaire sent last month to see who's coming. Our offer to send DVDs to the first fifty classmates who mailed class dues was over-subscribed in the first week. As of November 2nd, over 100 classmates have indicated they plan or hope to attend the reunion. Counting guests we can expect a total of over 150 to attend one or more events. What enthusiasm!
