| I am delighted
to report the Class of 1938 BTP Scholarship Fund awardees. Jeffrey
Bridgham ’04 of Melbourne, Florida and Jason Mueller
’04 of Santa Fe, New Mexico have been selected as the new
scholars for 2002/2003. Jeffrey Bridgham ’04, who is a nuclear engineering major, is active in the leadership of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, where he has held the positions of both risk manager and house manager. During the term, he works as a grader and a tutor for the physics department. In his free time, Jeffrey enjoys physics, reading, and sports (he currently plays intramural basketball and bowling and is a former member of the varsity football team). Jeffrey plans a career in either research or teaching. Jason Mueller ’04, a mathematics major, is the treasurer and current risk manager for the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. With his fraternity, Jason assists with binding children’s books at the National Braille Press in Boston. He plays a variety of intramural sports, such as bowling, basketball, softball, and soccer. Jason plans a career in media arts. As you know, support
from the Class of 1938 helps MIT maintain its commitment to admitting
the best and brightest, regardless of need. On behalf of the Alumni Association
and the Institute, I send sincere thanks for the Class of 1938’s
contributions to this fund. |
